Abstract (EN)
The subject of the present study is the Paris copy of Mehmed bin Ömer el-Halebî's work that named El-Ferec Ba'de'ş-şidde. This work, as originally translated from Persian into Turkish, was presented to II. Murad. Mehmed bin Ömer el-Halebî wrote the storybook "El-Ferec Ba'de'ş-şidde" in simple prose style. In the introduction of the thesis, prosaic storytelling in classical Turkish literature, the known copies of El-Ferec Ba'de'ş-şidde, as well as the domestic and foreign studies carried out on these copies, are introduced. In the first part, the life and works of Mehmed bin Ömer el-Halebî are briefly described. In the second part, El-Ferec Ba'de'ş-şidde Paris Copy's storyline and frame stories are introduced, the work itself is briefly summarized, its language and wording properties are addressed based on the criticized text of the work, and it is compared with the copy in Turkish. In the third part, the criticized text of the work is presented. The results obtained from the present study are listed under "Conclusion" heading.
