Abstract (EN)

In 2020, 15 pieces of honey, including 7 districts of Elazığ province and 8 districts of Bingöl province, were taken from the producer farmers of the region. The honeys taken were examined by pollen analysis and in the samples from Bingöl; 50 taxa belonging to 27 families and 50 taxa belonging to 26 families were determined in the samples from Elazig province. A total of 100 taxa belonging to 53 families were identified in 15 honey samples. In the samples taken, 2 honey samples were found to be unifloral, and the other 13 honey samples were found to be multifloral. In unifloral honeys; Paliurus sp., Quercus sp. taxa were found to be dominant. In the other 13 honey samples; Cerateagus sp., Nicotiana sp., Thymus sp., Paliurus sp., Onobrychis sp., Convolvulus sp., Salvia sp., Sarcopoiterum sp. detected as secondary. In the researched honeys; moisture, acidity, pH, brix values were also examined, and it was seen that the data obtained were in accordance with the criteria specified in the Turkish Food Codex Honey Communiqué and the European Union Honey Codex.
