Investigation of the Elazığ earthquake viewers and the attitudes of healthy nutrition, with anxiety of concerning COVID 19

An epidemic is expressed as an unpredictable increase in the number of individuals afflicted with a contagious infectious disease in a certain time period in a certain society. The Covid 19 epidemic has caused the death of millions of people affecting the whole world. In the same period, the earthquake that occurred in Elazig caused problems that could not be solved in a short time, especially in the health, social and economic life of the people of the region. It has caused changes in people's bar, nutrition and physical activity levels. In this study, a quantitative research model was used to determine the level of anxiety and nutritional habits of catching the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) after the Elazig earthquake. In order to determine the effect of the participants who experienced the earthquake that occurred in Elazig on January 24, 2020, on the healthy nutrition of the Anxiety of catching the Coronavirus (Covid-19), on June 10, 2021, the Participants Anxiety of catching the Coronavirus (Covid-19) scale and the attitude questionnaire about healthy eating were surveyed by google/. The form was sent to the participants. The data obtained from the questionnaires limited to 546 participants residing in Elazig Center in June 2021 were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 program. There is a positive effect of approximately 20.7% between the anxiety of catching the coronavirus and the attitude towards healthy eating. It is seen that the anxiety of catching the coronavirus increases the attitude towards Healthy Eating by 4.3%. There is a positive and moderate relationship between the anxiety dimensions of catching coronavirus and the attitude towards healthy eating.
