Abstract (EN)
In this research; it has been mentioned about viticulture in Elazığ, province, evaluation types of grapes, the present condition and the development possibilities. It has been examined vineyard areas, grape production values, viticulture values and evaluation types which was produced in the world, Turkey, Elazığ and its districts from written sources and identified their changes from the past to present. It has been studied geographical and agricultural structure of Elazığ province. It has been tried to identify the potential in Elazığ after taken into consideration of evaluation types of produced grapes, depending on these values. Production areas, vineyard areas and grape production values have been researched statistically and firstly has been stated the districts which was come into prominence. It has been studied the types of grapes which was produced in these districts, especially it has been defined the existence of types used at the stage of grapes evaluation. It has been focused on the problems of region and solution offers . Key Words: Elazığ, Viticulture, Evaluation of grapes
