Determination of the leadership styles of the courts of the trainers at the professional equipment in different sports branches with Elaziğ

ABSTRACT DETERMINATION OF THE LEADERSHIP STYLES OF THE COURTS OF THE TRAINERS AT THE PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT IN DIFFERENT SPORTS BRANCHES WITH ELAZIĞ The aim of this study is to investigate the style of trainers who work in Professional team sports in Elazığ. And to define the style of trainers work in professional sports in accordance with athlete and whether there is a difference between branches or not. The topic of study the professional teams in Turkey and the trainers and athletes work in these teams. The study contains 11 professional team (football,basketball,volleyball and handball) and the trainers and athletes work in these teams in Elazığ in 2013-2014 season. In this study , to provide personal information of athletes, the leadership scale for sport developed by Chelladurai and Saleh is used as well as personal information form. After obtaining the data of study,datas about especially athlete's demographic features is analyzed calculating frequence(f) and percentage (%) using SPSS statical packet programme. According to athlete's sense,calculating arithmetic average and standart deviation of trainers' leadership scale, one way analysis of varience is used in comparing trainers' communication skills according to age ,education level,years of doing sports and working with the same trainer for athletes from different branches. Tukey test is used in detection of emerging differentiation. As a result of study, it is determined that there is no differentiation in the scale of athletes from different branches and their educational ,social and autocratic scale. Besides this, it is seen that there is no significant differentation in the average of democratic and positive feedback scale. Key Words: Sports, Coach, Leadership, Leadership Styles
