The Evaluation of the interest and attitudes of Elazığ public opinion on sports

68 SUMMARY In this investigation, "Elazığ Public Opinion's interest and manner to sports" has been searched. The aim of the investigation: The sports activites and organisations, the sports instutions, and the has last place which city has become has been searched At the end of this investigantion, Elazığ public opinin gave as the sports potantial and the position of the sports in Elazığ. This investigation is at the aim of making the arrangements which we need for the sports in elazığ by Elazığ Public Opinion. At the investigation, we applyed an inguiny to 1400 person and dve to the discoveries of this investigation 90.6% of the public opinion faund women having no interest or a very small interest to the sports and 60.5% of the women who goined to this investigation said that they didn't have an interest to sports and they didn't make any sports activity. The reason why they didn't interest with the sports is; 22.5% of them said " families don't encavrage their daughter to any sports activity", 20.7 % of them said " there are ravely sports organisations which give place to women", 18 % of them said " There are no precutions which incite women to sports has been found" 94.8 % of the public opinion think mat; at this moment, the place of the sports at the city is insufficient or very little sufficient 95 % of the public opinion found see the sports organisations and sports activites insufficiency are; at the first row by 26.4 % of the public opinion is: " sports establishment, sports fields and materials insuffiency" 21.1 % of them said "ecaunomic insufficiency" 16.9 % of them said " administrator and expert insufficiency" 14.2 % of them said the public establishment and foundation supplement insufficiency" 11 % of them said " Sports managers disinterestedness" are seen 95 % of the public opinion found the sports establishments insufficient and It has seen that the sports establishment which are necessany for people are; by 19.4 % swimming pools, 18.2 % sports fields for health, by 16.6 % indoor sports fields, 1 1 % tennis ceurts.Now there are some efferts for answering the needs.This works must be finished abd opened for the population as as sooon as posible.69 The public apinion found sports foundations works insufficient or a little sufficient.To finish this works and give this project to people use, foundation must work header. 94.9 % of the public opinion found foundation works insufficientor a little sufficient. For solving these insufficients; 21.1 % of them said "establishment studies must be paid attention",18.5 % of them "there must be more sports activites and organization",19.9 % of them said "There must be precavtions which cause people to try hard about sports",94.7 % of them said economic invesments can't be finished and there are insufficient appropriations for the sports organizations and activities. 93.9; % of the public opinion found Elazığ' s sport supplement to country insufficient or a little bit sufficient. According to public opinion the reason of this event is firtsly 20.4 % "There are no help for successfull sportsmen" and then 19.8 % "Disinterestedness of the federiation to provinces" and then 14.3 % "The sources and invenstments for the sports are not used at right places". It has seen that the local sports magazines and newspapers which are effected in a bad way from all these negativeness are insufficient or a little bit sufficient for 83 % of the public opinion. For solving all these problems and for making the sports press more successfull, 23.7 %of the public opinion branches said "There must be programs for all the sports" 21.3 % of them said "Sports education must be very important, 20.7 % of them said "There must be education for specialists who areworking for sports". It has been 95 % of the public opinion thought for the studies for making sports better for this city is insufficient or a little bit sufficient. We can see that there are sports establishments and all the establishments are insufficient for many branch of sports and public can't use this establishments. The charged persons who are on duty (Referees, trains, specialists and educators) are seen insufficient or a little bit sufficient for 88.6 % of the public opinion 23.4 % of them said "This charged persons don't interest all the branches equally". If we think that the investments which are made for the sports is also an investment for human who is the reason for the public and cultur, all insufficient must be finished without spending any time.
