The sociological investigation of beliefs on evil-eyes in Elazığ

It is commonly believed that the evil-eyes is a fact araising from the jeolousy and admiration. Firstly to safe themselves from the evil-eyes that they believed its danger, after that evil eyes to get rid of it, people had applied a lot of religious and magical practices and maket a lot of things as a mediator. The first of them is the evil-eyes. So, the topic of this essay is comosed of this fact and the religious and magical belief, practices on it. Key-words: evil-eyes, magic, magical influence.
