Abstract (EN)
In this study, poly(3-methylthiophene)(P3MT) homopolymer and the composite films containing ferrocene, vinylferrocene and polivinylferroceniumperchlorate (PVF+ClO4-) with P3MT in methylene chloride solvent were synthesized firstly and optimum conditions were determined as well. The characterization of the synthesized films was carried out by using some methods such as cyclic voltammetry, FT-IR, Raman, UV-vis, AAS, SEM and EDS. In the second part of this study, the electrochemical behaviors of the films were examined using cyclic voltammetry in aqueous solution containing NaHSO4/Na2SO4 (pH 2.0-6.5) and optimum condition was determined as the pH 2.0. Electroanalysis of some phenolic compounds (phenol, catechol and hydroquinone) was successfully carried out using amperometric I-t methods. LOD, LOQ, linear response range and regression coefficient were calculated from analytical consequences for each modified electrodes. The electroactivities of P3MT homopolymer and P3MT composites consisting of ferrocene derivatives were compared. Phenol, catechol and hydroquinone compounds were determined using this modified electrodes at 0.90, 0.70 and 0.50 V optimum potentials, respectively and the analytical results were compared. The reusability of the films was tested for the best analytical results. River water samples which artificially contamined with phenol, catechol and hydroquinone were analyzed and high recovery values were obtained. These analytical results were compared with similar modified electrodes in literature.
