Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to explain advantages of programming of electricity distribution system, namely SCADA system, with two modeling approaches, that will be provided in accordance with Continuity of Procurement in Electricity Market Distribution System, Regulation on Commercial and Technical Quality issued in Official Gazette dated 09.12.2006 with no 26287. In addition, economical advantages provided with the practice of SCADA system in electricity distribution network, are also being studied in this study. As is known, electricity companies calculate energy amount, which couldn?t be sold, with a classical calculation method on the basis of 60% of the installed power on feeder at power outages. According to this calculation; energy amount that couldn?t be sold in Ankara metropolis due to power failures was 121,398,719 kWh for 2006. However, the first modeling indicates that it is also important to know when the failure had occurred as well as the failure period since it shows that a forementioned feeder load didn?t reach the 60% value and the load had changed so many times in one day. The other modeling indicates that transformers are damaged not only from over loads but also unbalanced loading of phases but v balanced loading would be provided with real time monitoring of transformers and so that transformers would be used more efficiently. Consequently; these arrangements allow the most flexible and responsive control and operation of the electric network and greater opportunity for minimising interruptions to customers.
