Abstract (EN)
Due to the reforms, electricity market, in which public sector had the monopoly, has transformed into a market in which private sector has started to involve actively. In the market which has evolved thanks to aforementioned reforms, various activities have occurred and the tariffs specific to these activities have gained importance regarding the protection of consumers and market. This study aims to analyze the historical development of electricity market, the current state of electricity market due to this development, the regulation of the market via tariffs due to this current state, the tariffs specific to these activities, their reason of existence and their content, and within this context, in relation to the said tariffs, the rights and obligations of the consumers, the alternatives provided to them within the scope of the legislation and current issues for and against the consumers.
