ABSTRACT Master Thesis TO RE ALİZE THE POWER SYSTEM SECONDER RELAYS IN COMPUTER ENVIRONMENT İlhami AYGEN Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Computer Engineering 2002,Page:61 This thesis presents a method for realize the computer support for seconder relays which are used in power systems. In power systems relays are very important, and remote control of this relays are very useful for this kind of applications. In this remote control method, the output of current transformer is transduced the digital data and then this data transferred to terminals and in terminals, computers take this data and execute it. After this phase computer program calculate the turn on time of relay and send this information to relay. Experimental results on tested power systems are presented to validate the proposed method. This results show that the performance of the new method is good.
