Abstract (EN)

Wheel chairs users are able to meet their short distance transportation needs by means of wheel chairs, scooters etc. However, they have to use their private automobiles or public transportation vehicles in middle or long distance transportations. The demand of elderly and handicapped people?s to use their own private vehicles in their long distance transportation needs increase depending on developing economic and technological conditions. This demand brings together the requirement of loading and/or getting on/off their auxiliary vehicles such as wheel chair etc. to the main vehicle. Users of auxiliary vehicles such as wheel chair or scooter etc. experience significant troubles in getting on/off their cars with their auxiliary vehicles in long distance transportation needs. Car loading mechanisms are rather complicated, hard to use and requires much space, especially door mechanisms and energy systems are not convenient for such transfers.Consequently, auxiliary vehicle users need to be able to use their cars which are indispensable part of life without needing a second person and getting off from their wheel chairs. This makes various improvements in cars compulsory. This thesis encompasses design of kangaroo type electricity driven mini vehicle, which will allow auxiliary vehicle users to get on/off and use their cars (kangaroo tip vehicles) with their wheel chair without needing a second person and getting off from wheel chairs.
