Abstract (EN)
Limited sources and depletion of fossil fuels have led to find alternative energie sources of countries. Energy consumption and transport sector, which has the largest share in environmental pollution is the main factor in these studies and intensive work was started on electric and hybrid vehicles. This thesis has been selected to draw attention to the importance of electronic differantial, to contribute in the creation of a scientific infrastructure. It is aimed to controlling the brushless dc motor placed on the back side wheels of the electric vehicle with proper driver and the closed loop is provided by an electronic differential to be designed by determined sensors. In the thesis, BLDC motor is used. To get this aim, motor driver and a communication card which will provide to communicate between all parts are used. A control card is implemented and tested with two BLDC motor and sensor sets such as current and speed sensor. When designing the system, ready-made BLDC motor drivers were used to focus on safe driving algorithms. Considering the use of more than one BLDC motor on electric vehicle, it is considered appropriate to use a separate control unit for each motor in order to increase the safety coefficient and provide maximum driving performance. Motor drivers communicate with each other to ensure equal loading of motors and control of traction systems such as electronic differentials. This control is provided by current and speed information obtained from the motors by the relevant sensors. In the design, a motor driver is used for each motor and a control card to communication with a motor drivers, sensors and motors. In system design; numerical methods, PID control are used. According to motor load, PID coefficient are selected by the fuzzy logic for simulation results, for experimental results if-than algotihm are used to select suitable PID coefficient. The load status is determined according to the current drawn by the motor, and PID selection for the load is provided. It was observed that reaching the reference speed by determining PID coefficients by using proposed selection is more successful than stabil PID usage of average deviation values on the basis of engine speed.
