Abstract (EN)

In this research, investigations have been made about the developments related to electric vehicles and the development possibilities of these vehicles in the future. As a result of these developments, the place of electric vehicles in human life, the differences between fossil fuel-consuming vehicles and electric vehicles, and the changes and developments that are expected to occur in the environmental and social fields as a result of the use of electric vehicles have been focused on. The charging systems of electric vehicles and the standard used by Turkey related to these charging systems have been specified. Researches on electric vehicle charging terminals have been examined and a charging station design has been made with the use of PV panels in Çankırı province as a result of the preference for the use of solar energy at these charging terminals. As a result of this design, it has been examined whether the electric vehicle charging process will be efficient with the PV system in Çankırı province and a cost analysis has been made. In addition, the fuel costs of electric vehicles and vehicles with internal combustion engines have been compared and which vehicles are more appropriate to use in this sense have been examined. Here, as a result, the PV system for charging a vehicle that can be applied in Çankırı province with the information obtained as a result of average daily kWh energy 28.5 kWh 15 of 535 for a vehicle in need of energy needs can be met with the panel to be established with a system, also the average cost of fuel compared to fossil fuel vehicles, electric vehicles with an average value of 3.15 times it is concluded that cost more.
