Abstract (EN)
Electric Train Systems Microcontroller-Based Road MagnetMeasurement System DesignTCDD (State Railways of the Republic of Turkey) is formed in blocks of about 3 km with electric train substructure and track circuit in signaled lines. On both sides of blocks, there are entrance signals. Moreover, There are next to each signal of the magnet of road. When magnet, which is mounted under locomotive, passes on road magnets, color meaning of signal is communicated to equipment. Thus, the device takes the necessary measures This is of vital importance for trains. These systems should be run efficiently to avoid any losses. In order to make automatic train stop system (ATS) work efficiently, road magnets should get right information. Any mistake may cause accidents. For this reason, maintenance and work tests should be checked regularly. In the thesis study conducted, a new device design is made to perform work tests of road magnets in a shorter time. By this, it will be more secure for trains and avoid possible accidents as much as possible.
