Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of the study is to examine the sportive performance content of plyometric training applications combined with electrical muscle stimulation. Material and Method: Out of 20 athletes participating in the study were randomly divided into two groups, as 10 the plyometric training group (PAG) and the other 10 as the plyometric training group with EMS applied (EMS + PAG). Height and body weight measurements of the participants were made at the beginning and at the end of the study; vertical jump test, 20 m sprint test, lane agility test, flamingo balance test, illionis aility test and repeated sprint ability test measurements were applied to the participants twice. Results: While it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the PAG and the EMS+PAG according to the vertical jump performance, line agility, 20 m speed, illinois quickness and repeated sprint scores; It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the height, body weight and flamingo balance score averages of the groups. Conclusion: It was determined that plyometric training applications combined with EMS were more effective on the development of athletes' vertical jump, 20 m sprint, lane agility, illionis quickness and repeated sprint ability performance compared to plyometric training applications applied without EMS. Key Words: Basketball, Electrical Novation, Plyometric Training
