Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Tin electroplating, SnO2 coating, plasma oxidation, thermal oxidation, SEM-EDS, R-ray, AFM. Tin electroplating was carried out both of acidic and alkaline baths. Fluoborate tin baths which are known is one of the oldest acidic bath. It is generally used at the high current density. Alkaline baths were named as sodium stannate and potassium stannate. Tin oxide as tin film is much permeable and optical permeability values of it reach to 95 %. SnO2 is n-type semiconductor. Tin oxide tin films were used at a lot of technological applications in Li-ion piles, gas sensors, opto-electronic etc. DC plasma, sol-gel, CVD, RF sputtering, pulse laser deposition, wet chemical synthesis, thermal evaporation and other methods have been used to produce SnO2 tin film coatings. The one of the most important main aim of this study is to produce the tin film coatings essentially SnO2. For this purpose, firstly tin was coated with electroplating method at different current density on the steel substrate. Secondly these coatings were oxidized by plasma and thermal oxidation methods. After that, these coatings were characterized using with SEM-EDS, AFM and X-ray systems.
