Abstract (EN)
The present is the age of quality, with unlimited competition and large-scale production. Manufacturers who can offer better quality products to their customers can survive. Many industrial companies are working on quality and efficiency to increase their profitability. One of the major challenges of industrial production is the failure to detect anomalies or deviations in process execution in a timely manner. Anomalies often arise because vital aspects of a process are missing or the process has undesirable behaviors in its execution. In this study, it is aimed to detect the anomalies in the reel-to-reel electrolytic coating process of Hatko Teknik Donanımlar Mümessillik and Ticaret A.Ş., which operates in the reel-to-reel electrolytic coating sector, for two different products at different times by process mining. For process mining, firstly, data about the coating process were obtained from the ERP system and tensiometer. The cleaning and coating steps, which are critical for the quality of the final product, were analyzed with process discovery algorithms. Our analysis is based on event logs collected from Hatko's reel-to-reel electrolytic coating plant. The parameter values in the event logs are categorized according to normal, high, low and zero values. ProM 6.12, a popular open source tool for process mining, was used to perform our analysis. After obtaining an overview of the process from the event logs, a detailed analysis of the process was performed with mining algorithms. According to the results obtained from petri nets, which are the output of process mining discovery algorithms, the processes were analyzed in detail and the performance of the processes, deviations and undesirable behaviors in the process were identified. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the company can increase productivity and quality with process mining applications. With process mining techniques applied to the event logs from the reel-to-reel electrolytic coating line, the behavior of the process is analyzed and areas for improvement can be identified. Thus, the quality and efficiency of the electrolytic coating process can be increased by process mining
