Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to identify men and women sportsmen?s legalinformation levels who play for the Turkey Handball Federation.With this aim; the relevant literature was consulted and the informationfound was considered to inform the current research. In the scope of theresearch, a questionnaire has been administered to the men and womensprtsmen who are playing for Handball Super League. The solution of theproblems investigated with with this research have been examined in terms ofthe findings of the questionnaires.Turkey Handball Super LEague men and women sportsmen form thepopulation of the research. 110 sportsmen selected randomly out of the 200sportsmen laying fort he Super LEague.The data of the questionnaires was processed by use of acomputer.during the analysis of the data from the questionnaires, the opnions ofthe statistics experts have been taken. The frequency and percentage spreadshave been found and t-test anda nova tests have been used to evaluate theopinions of the sportsmen and scored according to the three score Likert scale.The data of the questionnaires were evauated using the SPSS 10.0 statisticsprogramme.In conclusion, it was found that the Turkey Handball Super League menand women players have a lack of sports law information and this causes someproblems in their sports life. It was seen that a Professional help is necessaryfor the players and they need to have managers and lawyers.In the light of the findings, it is possible to conclude that thesportsmen have to believe that the sports law is important in their sports life andmake researches in this subject.In addition whenever they need a legal help, they need to getinformation from the sports law lawyers.Key words: sport, sportsman, sports law, information level
