Abstract (EN)
In this study, that aims to investigate the nutritional status of tomato greenhouses in Elmalı district of Antalya, soil samples from two different depths, 0-20 and 20-40 cm, and leaf were taken from 30 tomato greenhouses. Soil analysis was performed for the following parameters; texture, CaCO3, organic matter, EC, pH, total N, plant available P, exchangeable K, Ca and Mg, plant available Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu; in leaf samples, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu were determined. Most of the soils had texture of clay loam, loam and sandy loam; slightly alkaline and alkaline and high level of CaCO3 that possibly affects plant growth negatively, and low in organic matter; while no salinity problem was recorded. Soil total N, exchangeable Ca and Mg status were generally adequate; exchangeable K low, medium and high however, plant available P, status were found to be highly good enough. For micro nutrients; while plant available Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu were sufficient. Although N and Ca contents of plants were satisfaying, it was determined that P, K and Mg contents were insufficient. It was found that most of samples were sufficient in terms of micro ((Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu) elements and generally determined that there was no any problem with regard to micro element nitrition. In conclusion, it was determined that the greenhouse soils had high pH and lime content that could effect some problem with reagards to plant nutrition. Also, it had low organic content. It specifically should be pay attention to applications of P, K and Mg of which are commonly established deficiencies and have importance in terms of plant growth and fruit quality.
