Abstract (EN)

In this study, colemanite concentrator wastes from Kütahya Hisarcık was aimed to evaluate as a additive raw material to the clincer. Informations are given about the chemical composition of boron mine, the industrial areas that the boron minerals are commonly used and moreover the areas that they can be used in future are also mentioned. The reserves of boron mine both in Turkey and in the world are investigated in the study, additionally the establishments of Emet Boron Works are represented in a detailed way.PC 42,5 R cement was inveshigated by adding slam waste which was optoinet from Balıkesir Bigadic Etibank during the experiments, %1, 3, 5 and %10 slam waste were added to the PC 42,5 R cement and new composite cements were prepored. Experiments were corried out according to TS-EN standards. Chemical analysis, sieve analysis, density, blaine, %H2O content, setting time, compressive and flexural strenght, tests were applied to the prepored samples. Also SEM photographs were taken for these samples. Than experimental results were discussed in final chapter.
