This study examines thework entitled "Enmūzecü't-Tıbb" by Emir Çelebi. The work is a medical book penned in the 17th century and written in 1624. It consists of 379 pages. This study reviews the first 173 pages of the work. The study consists of three main sections. The introduction section mainly presents the history of medicine. In this section, the history of Turkish medicine in pre-islamic and Islamic period isdiscussed together with the studies on the medicine books from 13th century to the work "Enmūzecü't-Tıbb". This section also gives information about Emir Çelebi and the given work. The sound and shape properties are examinedand examples are given from the text in the first section. In addition, the vocabulary and frequently used words of the work are given with their meaning in the text by showing their origins and three places, where these words are used, are shown. In the second section, the contents and text of the work are presented. The purpose of this thesis is to ascertain the 17th century medical text, medical words of the period, disease and plant names. In addition, this study sheds light on the medical understanding of the period through both the topics it deals with and its qualification.
