Work satisfaction in safety organization: Bolu Safety Organization

The need for security has an important place in human needs. Safety needs include life safety and protection from hazards. Given the fact that people cannot satisfy their own security needs under any circumstances, the existence of security organizations is a necessity in satisfying the security need. The scope of this study; they are divided into three groups as administrative, political and judicial police. In addition, this study reveals whether there are differences according to the variables such as job satisfaction levels, job satisfaction levels, gender, age, marital status, educational status, rank, status of orient service and working time in the security organization. In this respect, the police working in the Bolu Security Directorate constitute the main population of the study. In this context, a total of 381 questionnaires were returned. After completing the questionnaires which were filled out incorrectly, t-test and ANOVA analyzes were performed on 337 valid questionnaires. As a result, according to the variables (age, gender, educational status, marital status, rank, status of orient, seniority and unit of study), it was observed that there is no difference in the job satisfaction level of the members of the Bolu Police Department.
