Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, comparative morphological, anatomical, palynological, micromorphological, molecular studies of Prangos abieticola Aytaç & H.Duman ve P. heyniae H.Duman & M.F.Watson which are endemic species were investigated compenatively in terms of their essential oil compositions were determined, and the characteristics of the species were revealed. In the morphological studies, the measurements of the parts of the species such as leaves, flowers and fruits were given. In anatomical studies, the structures of the ray, pedicel, peduncle, stem and fruit cross sections of the species were examined and the results were presented in tables. Light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used in palynological studies. In palynological investigations pollens dimensions, sulcus length and width, por width and length, exine and intine thickness have been measured and pollen ratio calculated. Pollen shapes of the species were found as perprolate, their aperture types are trizonolcolporate. Pollen surface sculpturing patterns were determined as rugulate. In SEM studies, fruits were photographed and the differences were given in a table. Within the scope of molecular studies, species belonging to Prangos Lindl. genus and Bilacunaria aksekiensis A.Duran & B.Doğan as outgroup were used and their phylogenetic relationships were revealed by evaluating the results. It was established by separating the herb, inflorescence, and root of the plants. The essential oils of these parts were obtained by water distillation method in Clevenger apparatus, and the chemical composition of these essential oils was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Analysis results of the species were given in tables.
