Time in the Dîvân of Enderûnlu Vâsıf

The goal of present thesis is to provide analysis about the concept of ?time? in the Dîvân of Enderûnlu Vâsıf. To this end, in the first part of thesis, the concept of ?time? is presented with severel opinions held about it. The following part, first, deals with the perception of time in the classical Turkish literature, and then, manifests the words about ?time? and their meanings in the texts included in the Dîvân of Enderunlu Vâsıf. At the end of the thesis, gained results based on the present existing study are introduced in the conclusion part.
