Özet (EN)

In this study, a metamaterial graphene-based antenna design is proposed to solve the electromagnetic problems faced by the real-time location tracking (RTLS) systems of industry 4.0 in industrial areas. Studies on how RTLS technologies can be used in the most efficient way, which will provide usage advantage in the industry, are examined. In industrial applications of RTLS systems, a study has been created to solve electromagnetic problems depending on metal interaction. In the study, unit cells in metamaterial structure to be used for energy harvesting were designed and simulations were carried out. Simulations were carried out in the frequency range of 3-20 GHz via CST Studio. Graphene and silver based energy harvesting unit cells: Efficiency, relative gain ratio, twist result ratio and compatibility with multiple unit cell design comparisons. In efficiency comparison; Graphene showed 6.5 times higher efficiency than silver. In the relative earnings ratio comparison; Graphene gave 1.7 times better results than silver. In the study carried out on the energy harvesting unit cell design, it was seen that graphene-based simulations give better results than silver. With the use of graphene-based energy harvesting unit cells, it has been observed that precise location tracking of mobile assets can be integrated into industrial areas without suffering electromagnetic disturbances due to metal interaction. Key words: Industry 4.0, RTLS, energy harvesting, metamaterial, graphene, radar cross section (RCS)
