This research has been carried out in order to analyse occupational high school students?s problem-solving skills in terms of different variables. The research group consists of 614 students (127 girls, 487 boys) who are educated in Yenimahalle, Keçiören, Mamak and Çankaya neighbourhoods of Ankara in 2009?2010 education year. Student Sheet, and Personal Information Sheet (which is prepared by the researcher) have been used in order to collect information about different variables of the research. t Test, One Way Anova Test, Tukey HSD Test and Kruskal Wallis H Test have been used for analysing the data.At the end of the research it is found that the following student types have meaningfully better levels of problem solving skills: ?female students, students whose perceptions of teacher are both strict and democratic, students thinking their parents are strict, students evaluating their laisure time in a logical way, those students whose self perceptions are successful and 11th , 12th grader students.?As a result of the research it has been reached that the problem solving skills of industrial occupational high school students does not make a significant differance in terms of variables such as parental attitudes, working or non-working parents, family income level, relations with friends, taking part in social activities, education level of parents, studying in suitable school or department and choosing his own school or department.Key Words: Problem Solving Skills, Occupational High School
