Abstract (EN)
Keywords : Metal covering ındustry, Nickel, Klinoptilolite, isotherms, to remove. In this study Ni, as a heavy metal about wastewater of metal covering industry and it?s synthetic solutions were studied by adsorption method and batch experiments. In batch experiments all factors that affected its adsorption process such concentration, adsorbent doses, mixing time and heat were deeply investigated. Optimum conditions for wastewater of metal covering industry were determined. In experimental studies that performed at 25±2 oC, with 8gr/L adsorbent doses, Ni at concentration of 50 mg/L and at the end of 50 minute mixing time were reached 81,59 as a best yield. Also at 45±2 oC batch experiment studies in optimum conditions were studied and results were investigated if they were suitable for Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms or not. It was determined that removal of nickel by using zeolit was suitable for both Freundlich and Langmuir isoterms at 25±2 ºC. But at 45±2 ºC Freundlich isoterm was more suitable than Langmuir isoterm for this adsorption study. Freundlich isoterm coefficient at 45±2 ºC was 0,97. Coefficients for Langmuir and Freundlich isoterms were found respectively 0,99 and 0,94
