Observation of electric energy at industrial plants

In this thesis, energy observation and archive system have been realized to control of energy distribution system in an industrial plant. The system is based on PLC and SCADA. The current, the voltage, the power the frequency and the harmonics can be observed on computer screen using the power analyzer connected the system. Data taken from the energy analyzer are continuously saved according to one minute time intervals into database. In addition, the data recorded into database can be reported, explained, saved as Excel format, printed as hard copy and illustrated on PC as graphically. The most important specification of this implemented observation system can be applied to different plants by doing small modifications in the both hardware and software.
