Abstract (EN)

Job satisfaction is the state of satisfaction or dissatisfaction that arises as a result of whether the employee's expectations about the job are met by the job. Work-family conflict, on the other hand, is a conflict arising from the incompatibility between roles that arise as a result of preventing a work-related role from dominating a family-related role. As the level of incompatibility increases, the level of work-family life conflict also increases. Industrial social work is a special field that aims to increase the well-being of employees, to apply solutions to the personal, family, workplace and social environment-related problems of the employees, and to increase the psychosocial wellbeing together with the welfare of the employees. The subject of this study is to develop solutions by evaluating the job satisfaction and work-family conflict relationship of blue-collar married male employees working in the industrial sector in the context of industrial social work. The fact that the industrial sector causes a mental fatigue along with physical fatigue compared to other sectors has been effective in making this research in the industrial sector. The study, which is a quantitative research based on screening research, was carried out in a tire factory in Kırşehir with 350 male employees who are blue-collar and married. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the relationship between job satisfaction of employees and work-family life conflict and to develop various solutions based on this relationship. Making a literary contribution to the field of industrial social work is another aim of the study. In the study, the Job Satisfaction Scale was used to measure the job satisfaction levels of the employees, the Work-Family Life Conflict Scale to measure the levels of workfamily life conflict, and a descriptive question form to explain the relationship between the descriptive information of the employees and the variables. One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Independent Samples T-Test, Simple Linear Regression and Simple Linear Correlation analyzes were performed on the data obtained from the employees through SPSS 16.0. In addition, information on descriptive variables is explained with frequency tables and cross tables. As a result of the study, a significant and negative relationship was found between employees' job satisfaction and workfamily life conflict levels. On the other hand, the significant differentiation of job satisfaction and work-family life conflict with the descriptive characteristics of employees varies.
