Abstract (EN)

Environmental sustainability is the responsibility of preparing a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations and protecting natural resources in the long term. In this context, the environment is the common stakeholder of every individual, institution or country living in the world. Every action taken, every product and service produced, every process operated, every practice implemented has a positive or negative impact on the environment. In this context, industry, transportation, energy, automotive, chemistry, food, agriculture, fashion, clothing, etc. We can say that there are many steps to be taken for environmental sustainability in all sectors such as. For example, in an industrially dense city such as Kocaeli, factors such as energy conversion such as solar panels and recycling by collecting rainwater will be implemented with environmentally sustainable and responsible practices, which will also reduce the negative effects on the environment. Determining the benefits that sustainability will provide to the construction sector as well as the opportunities and threats it will provide to the companies in the sector, determining the measures that can be taken against the difficulties that may be encountered in practice, determining the basic issues such as contributions to the country's economy and environmental sustainability are of critical importance, especially for businesses with high corporate sustainability awareness. Examining the work that each company can do to harmonize its activities with the environment
