Investigation of Turkey's energy projection in terms of energy diversity

Abstract (EN)

The issue of energy has become more important today in order to meet the needs of the rapidly increasing world population. Electricity and thermal energies obtained from fossil fuels and renewable energy sources led us to renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, considering the scenario that fossil fuels will be depleted in the near future. In this study, Turkey's 2030 and 2050 energy projections were made by calculating district heating, technical and market simulation, low and high capacity scenarios and hydrogen scenarios. In this way, existing energy consumption will become more efficient by reducing/using waste heat. Different capacity and hydrogen mixture scenarios for the years 2030 and 2050 were included in the study. The energy supply capacities of the scenarios in the projection and the diversity of energy sources were examined. The demand and supply calculations, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the scenarios specified in the study were calculated with the EnergyPLAN software. By including different types of energy into the calculation, energy needs were met while reducing energy costs.
