Özet (EN)

High voltage lines are a hostile environment that makes the accurate propagation of communication signals difficult. Noise levels are often excessive, and attenuation at the frequencies of interest is often very large. Important channel parameters such as impedance and attenuation are time varying in unpredictable ways. it is argued that advanced signal processing and channel coding can successfully mitigate the influence of the principal impairments in PLC channels. Corona noise is one of the worst problem for the high voltage lines. In this thesis, a new defined model of corona noise is implemented. Corona noise for PLC and AWGN for wireless communication are compared. MQAM error probability expression for PLC channel and dominant influence of corona noise and to overcome this noise, it has been designed optimum receiver for demodulation. Simulation of M-QAM communication systems for PLC channel are realised by using MATLAB software. Key Words :High Voltage Line, Optimum Receiver , Corona Noise,
