Özet (EN)
Lightning, can damage the environment, energy systems via carrying electric charges and large currents. Lightning current, today still important research subject that continuing to the present, as a result of researching and experiments, almost can be expressed in mathematically with different models. Overhead transmission lines, effected either directly or inducing by the lightning current, have designed to minimize or prevent the effect of the current occur on the line. Electromagnetic field that generated by the lightning current has variable characteristic, can be induced in different amplitudes on overhead transmission lines. In this study, which focused on electromagnetic field created by the lightning current via inducing, a RSC (Return stroke current) model preferred that is a mathematical definition of lightning return stroke current as a result of lightning, and is available for calculation of electromagnetic field. Also another LEMP (Lightning electromagnetic pulse) model is selected, for definition of electromagnetic fields are formed with lightning current. The models are rearranged for injection of appropriate currents to the lightning current. Positive current wave, square current wave and finally piecewise return stroke current are decided as lightning current and according to selected models with mathematically definition. Horizontal, vertical electric field and magnetic field equations of those currents are obtained by means of a program developed in MATLAB with convenient parameters. The effects of horizontal and vertical distances from the transmission line at various return stroke current magnitudes are investigated together with the magnetic field intensities, the horizontal electric field intensities, the vertical electric field intensities and the total electric field intensities occurred on the overhead transmission line.
