Abstract (EN)
There are many intervention alternatives in the building energy performance improvement literature. In this thesis, it is aimed to identify the low performance of retrofit interventions that respond positively to today's climatic conditions in the next year's climatic conditions and to create caution for projects in the design phase. In the methodology of the study, the diversity of energy improvement interventions in the literature is limited in three frameworks and three different conceptual intervention packages are constructed. The intervention packages are evaluated in three different climatic conditions for the years 2023, 2050 and 2080 and thus 9 different energy improvement scenario models are created. The base model data in the thesis represents a cultural heritage building and the study presents a case study. Among the alternative energy retrofit packages, the most efficient package is evaluated using multi-criteria decision making. The improvement impact of the intervention packages on the base model is analyzed based on five criteria: total annual energy consumption, carbon emissions, thermal comfort, heritage value and payback period. Scores are assigned to the energy retrofit intervention packages using the TOPSIS approach of the CRM method, the packages are ranked and comparisons are made between the packages. The findings of the thesis quantitatively demonstrate the importance of the criteria of harmony with the historical building as well as energy efficiency in the interventions to be applied in historical buildings and the necessity of future climate projection in all studies designed with the aim of energy performance improvement.
