Abstract (EN)
Energy has been a very important factor in terms of human history and progress from past to present. The diversity of energy sources, which started with the use of wood and coal, has increased with renewable energy sources today. Although energy resources are so important, energy investments cause serious problems in terms of human and environmental health. The aim of this study is to examine the concept of public consent in the axis of energy investments. In this context, the opposition of the people against the investments made and the strategies that need to be developed outside the legal legislation against these resistances and the examination of the relevant laws and regulations within the scope of the legal legislation are evaluated within the scope of the specific objectives of the study. Within the framework of these purposes, in the first part of the study, energy investments and their types, in the second part, public consent within the scope of energy investments and public relations in this process are mentioned. In the third part of the study, examples of popular movements against energy investments in the world and in Turkey and what can be done within the scope of legal legislation and non-legal legislation in the process of public consent in energy investments are mentioned.
