Abstract (EN)

The occurance of sudden and unexpected defects in machinery not only hinders the production plan but also causes important pecuniary losses. For that reason, predictive maintenance takes an important part in machinery. The most important and comprehensive method for this is vibration analysis based on predictive maintenance. The main principle in his method is first to watch the performance of the machines with the measurements taken during the production, then to determine when the maintenance will be needed and to repair the defect determined before by having a short break in production. In this method, as the defect is determined beforehand and repaired in a short period, it doesn't cause any hindrance or financial losses during the production. Predictive maintenance has an important role in factories where the continuous production is vital. That it is used especially in, power, cement, steel and paper industries provides the increase in production and as a result of this great benefits. In this study, predictive maintenance is performed by using vibration analysis at machines hat are used in the power plants. For this purpose, periodical vibration measurements have been taken from machinery and these vibration data have been evaluated with the frequency analysis method and the failures have been tried to be determined. During the studies, mechanical looseness, bearing failure, fan blade pass frequency, gear pass frequency, journal bearing failure and electrical bearing fluting have been discovered.
