Abstract (EN)
Electrical has become an indispensable energy in people's daily lives. Almost in every industry electricity is a necessary energy. Power plants are systems that convert the other forms of energy into electrical energy. Power plants have a great importance to reduce our country's energy dependence.In this study, existing power plants and planned power plants in the near future compared to determine more appropriate power plants. Natural gas, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, coal / lignite power plants and nuclear power plants were considered as alternatives. Power plants were evaluated with multiple criteria decision making techniques such as Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP).This study will support decision makers who studied on energy investments in our country. Also, this study gives a scientific perspective to power plant investments in our country. It is aimed that this study will be the base research for future studies in this area.
