Abstract (EN)
In order to ensure the sustainability of energy, the importance of renewable energy sources has started to increase as the energy requirement in the world is increasing, as existing resources are projected to be depleted in the coming years. It is very important that the increasing demand for energy will be met from which sources, with its environmental economic and social effects, and Turkey 20 years from now. As energy supply security approaches a safe and adequate energy target, it is very important to ensure environmental sustainability with cleaner resources at less cost. For this purpose, the importance of energy sustainability was mentioned in the study. Renewable energy sources were evaluated by Best Worst method (BWM), one of the most critical decision-making methods by investigating the criteria that affect the adaptation of the renewable energy resource to the environment and the continuity of the energy. In addition to being an application to support decision makers working on renewable energy resources in our country, it is aimed to contribute to the literature by dissolving it using a different new solution method (BWM).
