Investigation of the relationship between job performances and burnouts of professional personnel working in disabled care center

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between the job performance of the professionals working in the disabled care centers and their burnout levels. The sample of the study was determined by using the purposeful sampling technique, which is one of the non-random sampling models. In this direction, the prepared interview form, Job Performance Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale were applied to 204 professional staff working in private disabled care centers in Turkey. The data obtained were evaluated with the SPSS 22.0 package program in the computer environment by number, percentage, frequency, t-test, anova, regression and correlation analyzes. A correlation analysis was conducted regarding the significant relationship between the job performances of the professionals working in the disabled care center and their burnout levels. When the analysis results are examined; It has been concluded that the job performance levels of the professional staff tend to increase, whereas the burnout levels tend to increase in the opposite direction, and that there is a negative and significant relationship between the job performance measurement data and the burnout level measurement data. In this direction, institutional and political suggestions have been developed in order to prevent the burnout of the professional staff and to increase their job performance. As a matter of fact, a high job performance will support the professional and psycho-social well-being by increasing the professional satisfaction of the professional staff. In addition, it will increase the quality of social work interventions offered to disabled individuals and increase the well-being of disabled individuals and provide a holistic benefit.
