Examination of family opinions regarding the difficulties that disabled individuals face in educational life (Primary education I. stage): Case of Ağrı provincial center

The aim of this research is to reveal the problems experienced by the disabled children in the primary school age in their education life. The research was designed in a qualitative research design and was conducted by the researcher by creating open-ended interview forms consisting of 11 questions. While choosing the participant individuals residing in the city center of Ağrı, it was tried to reach people from different social segments and with different economic income levels as much as possible. Thus, it was tried to determine how families with the same problem reacted to the current situation.Interviews were held in May and June 2021. The obtained data were analyzed by applying the content analysis method by making sub-themes and coding together with the determined theme. In the results of the analysis, it is seen that the children with disabilities experience many difficulties both physically and psychologically in their education life. However, it is seen that disabled people also face difficulties in the context of social, economic and education.
