Abstract (EN)
It has been a matter of curiosity how people are so altruistic as to give money, time and effort, sometimes even a part of their body, to other people who need help without expecting anything in return. For this reason, as the subject of the study, the reasons for shaping the intentions of people voluntarily reflecting altruistic values were investigated. In this context, the aim of the research is to examine the volunteering intention of those working voluntarily in NGOs with disabilities within the scope of the Expanded Theory of Planned Behavior. The scope of the study is to investigate the volunteering intentions of people working voluntarily in NGOs with disabilities in Turkey. The concepts included in the classical theory were "behavioral norm, helping others attitude, Disabled NGO attitude and altruism". The sample of the research is people who work voluntarily in NGOs with disabilities that can be reached in Turkey. A total of 420 questionnaires were collected from questionnaires that can be accessed online and hand-delivered. While 52 of these surveys are invalid, 368 surveys are still available. After the validity (Explanatory Factor) and internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha) analyzes of the study were performed, correlation and regression methods were applied as statistical methods in the study. Various findings were obtained as a result of the statistical methods applied. The model developed within the scope of the research has been confirmed except for the disabled NGO attitude.
