Abstract (EN)
Injectable gels are preferred in many fields, especially biomedicine, drug delivery, and tissue engineering. In this study, injectable physical gels containing carbon nanotubes were prepared after the synthesis of cyclodextrin molecules modified with polyethyleneglycol. The characterization of the synthesized molecules in each step was carried out. In addition to FT-IR and SEM analyses of injectable gels, their hydrophilic-hydrophobic characteristics were determined by water contact angle measurements. It has been determined that chitosan/CD-PEG mixtures with and without carbon nanotubes are injectable. Injectable gels developed within the scope of the thesis also have the potential to take part in different applications with their controlled release potential.
