Abstract (EN)

Turkey is importing significant amounts of gas from abroad. One of the most important items in gas import is Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). LNG imported in large quantities from many different countries is a substance in liquid form and without smell or color. The importance of LNG as an alternative source can be understood especially considering the place of natural gas purchase and sale in interstate trade. Therefore, where to import LNG should be evaluated within the framework of economic and social relations that vary between countries and the most suitable country should be determined. In this study, it is aimed to determine the most suitable country by evaluating the import of this important resource under the current conditions. The criteria and alternatives used in the study were determined as a result of compiling the reports of many different institutions such as Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), Ministry of Energy and BOTAŞ. Fuzzy AHP was used for weighting criteria and fuzzy TOPSIS was used to determine the most suitable country. In the study, a detailed examination was made with 5 different scenarios prepared by considering possible situations. The software developed by the author was used in the implementation of the prepared integrated decision-making study. Keywords: LNG, decision making, Fuzzy AHP, Fuzzy TOPSIS
