Abstract (EN)
In todays rapidly transforming world, Leadership Concept is also being reviewed for alternatives, and new approaches are coming to existence. In this study Alija Izzetbegovich's leadership definition is compared with intellectual leadership - as one of the contemporary leadership types. Qualitative research method is used in the research while discourse analysis method is used as a tool on data collection stage. Within the framework of the study, Alija's books are inspected carefully; thesis, articles and critics written about Alija are investigated with discourse analysis. Alija's death and not being able to interview are the lacks of this study. As a result of the study Alija came out to meet the properties of the intellectual leadership. It is revelaed that Alija's these qualities are demonstrated while he is leading his society. Also as an output of the study necessary qualifications of todays ideal leader's are found out.
