Özet (EN)

Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), has a polypeptide stracture. It regulates cellular processes by binding the EGF receptors which arelocated on the cell surface. In this study the distribution of EGF receptors in nomal and pathologic kidney tissues were studied by immunohistochemical methods at light microscopic level. In normal kidney tissues moderate immunoreactivity was recognized on the glomeruli, renal tubules and blood vessels. In renal cell carcinoma, strong reactivity was seen on the cytoplasm of malign cells. In these carcinoma most of the cells were clear cells and it was interesting that their cytoplasm was not stained. Beside this moderate immunreactivity was also recognized on the cell membrane of the clear cells. Similar EGF-r distribution was seen both end stage renal disease and chronic pyelonephritis. However, the immunreactivity was stronger on the end stage renal disease. Immunstaining in these two tissues was recognized mostly in the renal tubules with squamous epithelium, hyaline material among their lumen and collagen fibriles of connective tissues. It was attract attention that hyalinized and depraved structured glomeruli and renal tubules with squamous epithelium was seen atrophic kidney. Immunpositivity in these structure were recognized not only moderate but also weak. In the cytoplasm of renal tubul epithelium with89 depraved structure on anjiomyolipoma, there were seen that immunreactivity changing from weak to strong. In addition that moderate staining was seen smooth muscle cells of connective tissue and blood vessels, but weak staining was seen on the cell membrane of adipose tissues. Related with the increasing mitotic activity most stronger EGF receptor reactivity recognized on the renal cell carcinoma.
