Korovkin type theorems via EQUI statistical convergence and weighted EQUI statistical convergence

This thesis consist of three sections. In the first section, some main definitions and theorems to be used in this thesis have been given. In the second section, the concepts of statistical convergence and weighted statistical convergence has been introduced. Some examples and results for these convergences have been given. In the first part of findings section, using the equi-statistical convergence, Korovkin type theorem has been studied and the rate of convergence for this theorem has been given. In the second part, using the concept of weighted statistical convergence Korovkin type theorem has been studied for a sequence of positive linear operators. In the thirth part, using the concept of weighted equi-statistical convergence, Korovkin type theorem has been studied. Later, the rate of this convergence has been calculated with the help of modulus continuity. Finally, Voronovskaya type theorem has been studied.
