Abstract (EN)
Kerkük region is very crucial for both Turkish world and Turkish literature. In this thesis, Garibi who is one of the poets of Kerkük region where is important for divan literature also was examined. The main reason for this study is to make recognize the poets of divan literature of Kerkük region and present new and proper material for researchers who want to make similar studies. Blind Poet Yusuf Garibi who lived in Erbil in the 18th century, was known with his improvisary poets and his unique work is Turkish divan that is also the topic of our thesis. There exists two copies of Garibi's Divan. One of the copies which is in the Süleymaniye Libraray is written copy, the other one is printed copy. We worked on both copies using text criticism technique and formed Garibi's Divan's criticised text. Our work consists of, introduction, life of Garibi, literary of his character, explanation of divan copies, examination of divan on the perspective of shape and content, criticised and transcripted text of divan, systematic index of divan and conclusion. As a conclusion, a proper text was formed and information of the content was given by comparing two copies of Garibi Divan.
