The Ergenekon investigation and Case? that has remained on the agenda of press for a long time are presented differently in different newspapers. The perception of reality in a newspaper can be different in another newspaper. The presentation of the news in newspapers in different ways may affect the perception of reality. Depending on the political stance and ideological attitude of the newspapers, the presentation of the news and the approach to the incident may change. In addition to the news of the newspapers, the newsworthy columns also give information about the policies of the newspaper and the ideological stance of the journalist. In this thesis; the discourse analysis is conducted based on the columns of newspapers having different ideologies. Cumhuriyet and Zaman newspapers are chosen for the analysis. The approaches to the news and incidents by the journalists in the columns are examined during ?Ergenekon? investigation and case process.
