Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the present study was to examine the relation aggressiveness and drug addiction among adolescents. In addition, relations between gender, socio-economic status, education levels, being in a prison and in a formal education, substance kinds are examined. Aggressiveness Questionnaire (Buss and Perry, 1992), used in this research.Research population is composed of adolescents who are in secondary education, formal educational institution and adolescents in prison in 2007-2008. Sample of research was chosen with random sample method from 160 adolescents in secondary schools and 100 convicted and arrested adolescents in prison.The data were analyzed by running Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, and were achieved the results below:It was concluded that among the distribution of used drug kinds, they use mostly dope. The relationship between drug use and aggressiveness, gender, aggressiveness dimensions was significant; on the other hand the relationship between drug kinds, socio-economic status, education levels, being in a prison and in a formal education was not significant; the relationship between drug kinds and all variables was not significant. The relationship between aggressiveness dimensions and education levels, drug kinds was not significant; but there was a relationship between socio-economic status, gender, being in a prison and in a formal education and drug use.Key Words: Drug Addiction, Aggressiveness, Adolescents, Prison
